Filmmaker/Writer/Artist

Originally from Shanghai, China, Jing moved to the United States by herself at the age of sixteen in pursuit of artistic freedom.

Growing up, her grandfather would tell her war stories and fables before sleep, instilling in her a love for narrative storytelling. Visually, Jing draws inspiration from the cinematic style of American painter Edward Hopper and photographer Gregory Crewdson, while the simplicity and profound philosophy in Kurt Vonnegut's writing greatly influence her literary style.

Previously, Jing worked in creative productions at Sony Music and has also been freelancing as a producer, director, and writer. Her first stage play, Wheel of Fortune, premiered at the "Little Shakespeare Festival" at FRIGID New York in August 2023. Currently, she is working on a new play, developing a short film and a TV series, and completing the third draft of a feature-length psychological thriller.
